About Me

Professional Summary

Nearly nine years of international education across Brazil and China. Currently Vice-Principal at Canada British Columbia International School in Kunming, leading school-wide assessment reform while teaching BC Physics 11 and 12. I design curriculum, coach teachers, and build the kind of classroom and school culture where students from any background find a reason to stay curious. I have worked across NGSS, Cambridge IGCSE, and Canadian frameworks. I build with data and technology, not just talk about them. I am looking for a school with high standards, a strong team, and the ambition to keep getting better.

Leadership Philosophy

I believe a school is only as strong as the culture and systems it builds. My job as a leader is to create the conditions where students are challenged to grow, teachers are supported to improve, and the community trusts that both are happening. I lead with high expectations and invest in people through coaching, honest feedback, and genuine professional development rather than top-down directives. I build systems that make expectations visible, progress measurable, and accountability shared. Good intentions without structure rarely survive contact with a busy school year. I make decisions grounded in evidence, stay current in educational research and practice, and bring the same curiosity I ask of students to my own professional growth. I have seen what happens in schools where teachers feel valued, systems are clear, and leadership is consistent, transparent, and present. Students thrive. Staff stay. Parents trust. That is the school I work to build.
